Robinson’s vision was to create a golf course where: no hole has less than championship quality; This vision is rapidly turning into a reality.

Opened in 1964 and designed by Robert Trent Jones Sotogrande is regarded as: the jewel in the crown: of Costa Del Sol golf course classics. It has hosted many tournaments including The Spanish Open, The Spanish Professional Championship won by Steve Ballasteros. It is also famous for hosting The Sherry Cup, Europe’s most famous Amateur championship. Winners include Sergio Garcia, Padraig Harrington, Shane Lowry and Francesco Molinari Those who played but failed to win include Jon Rahm, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. Sotogrande is an old classic in the Augusta, Pebble Beach, Wentworth category and is situated across the road from Valderrama. It is a true masterpiece.

The newest of the classic 4 in the area, La Reserva is a 400 hectare expanse of private homes, golf course and country club overlooking the Mediterranean.
